Event Description

A kindhearted fisherman, his wife and an enchanted flounder brought to life through music and interactive theater. Blending worlds of music: opera (the fish), Jazz (the fisherman) and a combination (the wife); we journey through an old tale about human goodness, greed and what it really takes to be happy. An educational and entertaining musical adventure, the production will feature original music by composer Chris Heslop in collaboration with Tamara Black and introduce both Jazz and Opera to another generation of young audiences. Following the Saturday morning performance an artist from Yocum Institute for Arts Education will lead children in the creation of a special craft related to the show.
